Our group's next event:
When: Wednesday September 16th from 14:00 to 15:30.
Where: Fakenham Museum of Gas and Local History.
What: A visit to the only surviving town gasworks in England.
Why: To gain an insight into our industrial and social heritage through displays of gas manufacturing plant and domestic appliances.
Looking forward:
October 21st - Tour of King's Lynn Library's historic book collection.
November 18th - History quiz at London Road Methodist Church hall.
December 16th - Visit to Lynn Museum (Frederick Savage theme).
