As our group name suggests, we love the fun we get from learning, playing and singing along to our ukuleles. We are a mixture of learners, improvers and experienced players. None of us are experts by any measure but we do have a lot of fun and can make a decent noise when we try hard!
We meet every Wednesday, starting at 7pm at Leziate Village Hall. We usually play for an hour, have a tea-break and chat, then play some more to finish at 9pm. We play all sorts of songs, and we play from song sheets projected onto a screen, so no need to carry around and manage a big folder full of paper!
We welcome all abilities, also not just ukulele players...it's always nice to have the different sounds and support of other instruments! And, if you're not confident of learning the ukulele, or struggle with the physical aspects of playing one, we also love to be joined by people who just want to sing and be part of the fun.
Why not come along on a Wednesday evening and try us out?
