We try to meet two or three times a month, usually but not exclusively on a Friday or Saturday.
Walks so far have been in the range of about 4 up to 8 miles. Occasionally the route will be a figure eight shape, so only the first half need be completed if the member so wishes.
More members are welcome, and no one is expected to have to lead a walk, though any offers are welcome!
At present walks are being arranged on a week by week basis and the details sent out to group members a couple of days prior to the walk. This practice allows the group leader to avoid inclement weather and having to postpone walks due to lack of take-up.
